2024/07 - Early July Release

Important Notice for Windows users of Flow Capture Connect

With the 2024 Mid July release of Flow Capture Connect, an extra step is required to ensure a smooth installation - if you're a Windows user and have previously installed Connect prior to Mid July, that older version will need to be uninstalled before installing the new version.

This would mean your application will reset, and any configured live streams will need to be re-created.

Improvements

tvOS Playback - Variable Playback Speed

We have made improvements to the player to allow for smooth playback of assets at 1.5x speed - handy for when you're reviewing lots of clips at once and need a boost.

Mobile - Info Tab

We are introducing an improved Info tab to the Asset view when viewing content on the iPad, allowing you to preview asset comments and metadata within the Assets panel.

Performance - Comments

We have made significant improvements to the speed at which Comments are loaded, helping you join the conversation much faster.

Performance - Administration

We have made significant improvements to how users are loaded when working within large-scale productions.

Bug Fixes

Audio Assets - Timecode Navigation

We have identified and resolved an issue which could prevent timecode from being generated for audio-only assets.

Web/Browser - Deep Links

We have identified and resolved an issue which could cause deeplinks/hotlinks to not function correctly when certain levels of access are revoked for the user.

Admin - Production Licenses

We have identified and resolved an issue which could cause an incorrect number of available Production licenses to be displayed for Company Administrators.
