2025/10 - Early October Release

New Features

Playlist Collaborators

We're excited to introduce comprehensive collaboration capabilities for Playlists, enabling teams to work together more effectively when managing shared content!

Playlist Collaborators work alongside you behind-the-scenes to collate content from the Assets panel into various Playlists before the content is distributed as a Share - this way your whole team can now work to collate assets into a Playlist for sharing rather than that being task being limited to an individual.

Collaborators must also have Share permission and access to the Playlist content before they are allowed to Share.

Key Capabilities:

  • Search and Add Users or Teams: Easily find and add individual users or entire teams as collaborators to your playlists
  • Granular Permission Management: Assign specific roles to collaborators with four distinct permission levels:
    • An Owner has full control over the playlist, including managing content and adding/updating its collaborators
    • An Admin can manage and share content, but cannot add or change collaborators
    • An Editor can add, remove, and organize assets within the playlist, but can’t share the Playlist with others, nor can they add or change collaborators
    • A Sharer can only view and share the playlist with others
  • Team-Based Collaboration: Add entire teams at once, with the ability to view individual team members and their access levels
  • Dynamic Permission Updates: Easily modify collaborator permissions or remove access as project needs evolve
  • Comprehensive Management Interface:
  • Dedicated Collaborators tab within playlists
  • Bulk operations for managing multiple collaborators efficiently

Admin: Activity Cloaking

There are often users whose activity is sensitive, and should not be visible in activity streams for most users. Flow Capture now has an Activity Cloaking feature that allows administrators to specify individuals, teams, or even entire domains to be excluded from activity reports. Cloaked activity can be specified at the company level, the production level, or the folder level, offering flexibility and control.

Key Capabilities:

  • Hierarchical Cloaking: Cloaking at the company level affects all productions, folders, and assets in the company. Cloaking at the production level affects all folders and assets within that production. Cloaking at the folder level affects that folder's activity and all assets in that folder.
  • Additive Cloaking: The activity of an asset in a folder is affected by its folder's cloaking, its production's cloaking, and any company cloaking.
  • Domain Cloaking: Hide the activity of all users within an entire email domain, such as mycompanyname.com.
  • Activity Streams: Users who are cloaked will have their activity hidden in the Asset Activity streams, as well as the Administration Activity Stream view.
  • Viewed/Unviewed: Cloaked users will have their asset, Playlink, or Share viewed/unviewed status hidden.
  • My Activity: A user can always see their own activity.

Improved "Add People" Experience

We have refined the way that users are added to Flow Capture by streamlining modal menus and permissioning process.

  • Search for (and Select) a User or multiple Users
  • Choose their Permission (where applicable) from the dropdown menu
  • Add!

Uploads - Asset Processing

We have added additional support for a handful of uneven/non-standard resolutions which may have previously failed processing in the past.

Bug Fixes

Rooms - "Add Participant"

We have identified and resolved an issue which could cause the "Add Participant" button to not function as intended when in-room.

Export to CSV

We have identified and resolved an issue when exporting information to CSV to ensure that the export is specific to the context of the message regardless of the user's overall access to the folder.
