New Features

This latest update gives you an alternative way of creating a Share, thanks to the addition of our Quick Share functionality to the Action Menu.

With 2 or more assets selected, a new "Share" option becomes available, which allows you to Share assets using the same configuration options as you usually would, with fewer clicks.

These Quick Shares will also create a Playlist so that you can adjust or edit them as needed, or, re-share via a standard Share workflow. They will be located in a new "Quickshares Playlist" section under Playlists:

Notification Updates: Email Frequency

Receiving too many notification emails in your email inbox? Flow Capture has a setting that allows you to slow down your notification emails into regular reports.

Prior to this update, our frequency selections were:

Instant
Daily at 5:30pm
Weekly on Thursdays at 5:30pm

For improved flexibility, we have updated these selections to allow for more specificity, allowing you to receive a report of your notifications:

Instantly
Daily at a specific time.
Weekly on a specific day at a specific time.

Notification Updates: Notify All Participants / Notify Selected Participants

When triggering Folder Activity notifications through Copy/Move, Hide/Unhide and Upload actions we have updated how you can notify participants by adding a new Notify all participants field in addition to the existing option Notify selected participants.

Choosing Notify all participants allows you to skip the Select Participants step and immediately notify all Participants on the destination folder once the assets are available in their new location.

Rooms - Redesigned Rooms Lobby cards

We've updated our Lobby cards to include more information, such as the associated Project name, and clicking the Participants on the card allows you to jump straight into the Participants panel.

Mobile - Add People

We've updated the Add People experience on iOS and iPadOS to show the scope of a team when viewing them in the list - this will show if they are a Project level or Company level team.

Mobile - Design Updates

We've made additional design tweaks and updates to our Mobile applications.

Bug Fixes

tvOS - Asset Playback (Resume)

We have identified and resolved an issue which could cause an error to appear when resuming a video and then attempting to start playback from the beginning.

tvOS- Top Shelf Image

We have identified and resolved an issue which could cause the header image to misalign when Flow Capture is lucky enough to make it into your Top Shelf on tvOS.

Effective Today, Flow Capture has updated its terminology:

• “Production” has become “Project.”

This change aligns Flow Capture with common practices in the Media and Entertainment industry. Only the UI terminology is changing. No user-entered titles or names will be modified.
