New Features

Commenting Tools - @mentions

While composing a comment you are now able to @mention individuals directly, allowing you to assign work, request feedback or send a friendly nudge to your fellow collaborators.

Mentions in comments will display as "@First Lastname", matching the preferred name set in Settings > Account > Personal Details.

Mentions are available wherever you can comment in the Inbox/Assets panels, with support within Rooms sessions coming in a future update.

Company Administration Tools - Delegate User

This update introduces a new concept to Flow Capture - that of a Delegate User, allowing you to grant a trusted and approved user access to your account as an assigned "Delegate".

An example use case would be for an Executive with an Assistant.

The Executive can have their Assistant set up to be a Delegate. The Assistant will then have the ability to log in as the Executive and access their account on their behalf.

While logged in as a Delegate you have the same visibility and access as the Account Holder, allowing you to manage a user's Inbox, adjust their Settings or set up their Home widgets. All actions performed by the delegate user are logged as such for Reporting purposes, allowing Administrators to see which actions were performed by the Delegate specifically.

When enabled, only Company Administrators will be able to access and use this functionality - a Company Admin will be the one to assign the Assistant to be a delegate of the Executive, upon request.

This functionality is disabled by default on Flow Capture and Company Admins will need to request it’s enablement directly with Flow Capture Support.

Dolby Vision Support for Google Chrome

This update introduces support for Dolby Vision playback of assets within Google Chrome (provided supported hardware is available).

Bug Fixes

We have identified and resolved an issue which could impact performance for users who are the recipient of large quantities of shares (100+).

Player - Timecode Display (FRM)

We have identified and resolved an issue which could cause the timecode to become unresponsive after a page refresh when set to display FRM.

Player - Screenshot Tool

We have identified and resolved an issue which could cause screenshots taken of 23.98fps content using the inbuilt tool to capture one frame too early/late.

Rooms - Sync With Host

We have identified and resolved an issue which would prevent control of the Room from reverting to "Sync with Everyone" in cases where the Host has left but the session continues.

We have identified and resolved an issue which could allow a user with a (Share) permission subgroup to invite additional users in cases where the ability is disabled.

Shares - Search

We have identified and resolved an issue which could cause the currently enabled search filter to reset/clear when choosing a Share from the search results.

Search - Result Sorting

We have identified and resolved an issue which could impose unclear Sort parameters on search results returned within Flow Capture.

Permissions - Display

We have identified and resolved an issue which could cause a user's Permission to not display their highest available permission in a given location. This was a display issue and permissioning/access was not impacted.

Transfer - Manage Assets

We have identified and resolved an issue which could cause empty/deleted batches to still display as destinations within Manage Assets.

Users and Teams (Beta)

We have identified and resolved an issue which could cause the Users and Teams (Beta) panel to not appear for folder-level Administrators outside of Company Administrator permission.

Playlists - Performance Improvements

This update contains additional fixes to improve the global performance of Playlists across Flow Capture.

Additional Notes

As part of our regular security maintenance this update increases the minimum supported versions of the dedicated Flow Capture applications across all platforms.

Affected users still using older versions of the applications may need to update the application or re-enter their login credentials.
