Personal Watermarks

Administrators now have the ability to set a Personal Watermark for individual users - applying wherever that user plays back content across your Company/Project.

  • Personal Watermarks are applied per-user and can be scoped to a Company, Group, or Project.
  • As an admin, you can create and manage Personal Watermarks from a user's profile.
  • When your Personal Watermark is removed, you will return to seeing the watermarking as defined by your content.

Introducing the Tech Preview Catalog

Browse and opt in to features the team is still shaping, all in one place — right from the beaker icon in your sidebar.

Note: We've renamed "Beta" to "Tech Preview" across Flow Capture for features we are still shaping.

  • Tech Preview Catalog: Open the Tech Preview Catalog from the beaker icon in the left sidebar to browse capabilities the team is still shaping and see what's already active. Only company administrators can opt in — if you want to try something new, ask your admin.
  • In-product terms acceptance: Company administrators review and accept each Tech Preview feature's own terms and privacy statement in the catalog before opting in — accepting one feature does not cover any other.
  • Account-wide activation: When an administrator opts in to a Tech Preview feature, it activates for your whole company immediately.
  • Tech Preview badge: A persistent Tech Preview badge appears on catalog entries and wherever a preview feature is in use, so you always know you're working with something still being shaped.
  • Feedback form in the Tech Preview Catalog: Share feedback on active Tech Preview features directly from the catalog — open the beaker icon and use the feedback form to tell us what's working and what isn't.

New Tech Preview: Smart Search + Smart Actions

Our latest Tech Preview introduces AI-powered Smart Search in addition to our existing keyword search - allowing you to search within indexed clips using natural-language queries.


In addition to Smart Search, Flow Capture now allows you to configure Smart Actions based on contextual information to help automate your workflows. Smart Actions allow you to define parameters that trigger an action (or set of actions) in natural-language, leveraging AI-powered indexing.


Smart Search and Smart Actions can be enabled independently (or together) from within the Tech Preview Catalog.

Updates and Refinements

Improved handling of "Downloader" and "Make Available Offline" Permissions

Following this update, your Folder-level permission for Offline and Download will apply automatically when you receive content from that location in the form of a Share.

  • When a Share/Playlink has the Allow Downloads toggle turned ON or if you have download permissions on all assets, you can download content from the Inbox or Home.
  • When a Share/Playlink has the Allow Offline toggle turned ON or if you have offline permissions on all assets, you can offline content from the Inbox or Home.

Bug Fixes

Rooms - New Room

We have identified and resolved an issue which would present users without the ability to create Rooms with the "Create Room" dialog.


Shares - Show in Folder

We have identified and resolved an issue with expired Shares which could prevent the "Show in Folder" button from displaying for users with the required permission.
