  • Shares - General

    • Asset Permissions
      • We are in the process of introducing the ability to see your general asset permissions (eg Share, Download, Offline) for assets in a Playlist, as well as the ability to request a permissions upgrade.

  • Shares - Sender

    • Share to Team
      • We are in the process of introducing the ability to choose a Team as a recipient of a Share.
    • Share to Guests
      • We are in the process of introducing the ability to share to Guests - new users created at Share setup.
    • Share-Specific Watermarking
      • We are in the process of introducing the ability to choose a watermark for a Share (see: Playlink specific watermarking).
    • Thumbnails
      • We are in the process of introducing the ability to select an asset thumbnail from within a Playlist to serve as a cover/thumbnail for the Share.

  • Shares - Collaboration

    • We are in the process of introducing a new way to collaborate with other users on Playlists.
    • This first includes the ability to define Roles to users within the Share
      • Share
        • This user is now a collaborator on the Share, but not the Playlist itself.
        • This user can see the content of the Share, but cannot modify assets as they are connected to a Playlist.
        • This user gains the ability to Edit and Modify and Resend a Share on behalf of the original creator. They can change any of the Shares settings and attributes, as well as the overall Permission Level of the Share.
      • Editor
        • This allows full access to the Playlist content and this user can share or reshare the playlist.
        • This allows the collaborator to share the playlist,the owner of the playlist will have edit collaborator rights to the Share
    • Content Editor
      • Ability to add to the Playlist but not able to share the playlist.
      • Content that is added by the content editor can be viewed by the owner.
      • When sharing a playlist the user must have share permissions to all content including any content added by the content editor.
