2026/05 - Early May Release

New Features

Users and Teams - Public Beta

This update includes our brand-new administration tool, Users and Teams, being released as a public beta.

This interface works as a replacement to Administration > Manage Teams, with both tools coexisting for the meantime to ease transition, to better manage the global creation and management of Teams across your Project or Company.

Feature Notes

  • Users who are assigned at a direct Folder level will continue to be managed in the Access panel within Assets.
  • Export CSV within Users and Teams will be available soon in a future update.

This feature is available for users who have Folder Administrator permission or greater.

More information can be found in our Guides for Users and Teams - Overview

Rooms will now have two options for links that can be sent out by the host(s) of that Room

Participants Only

A "Participants Only" link can be used to send a link to participants who have been invited to the Room.

  • Users will be required to log in to their Flow Capture account in order to be able to join the Room.
Anyone with the link

An "Anyone" link will enable instant access for anyone who receives it, and recipients will not need to have a Flow Capture login.

    • These links can be set to allow access right away, or at a later date
    • These can also be configured to expire at a specific date and time, or left to never expire
    • Note that only Hosts can send out "Anyone" type links.
    • Expiration date, disable, re-enable, delete options exist, similar to existing Playlist Share links

This functionality is disabled by default, and Company Administrators can request it’s enablement.

Updates and Refinements

Screenshots - Unauthorized Screenshot Notification

This update includes a minor change in the copy that is presented to users who attempt to take a screenshot using iOS to read:

"A screenshot was detected, and administrators have been notified. Content in this folder is protected and should not be copied or shared. Please delete the screenshot from your device."

Retiring Classic Mode

This update bids farewell to our Classic interface in Flow Capture, moving any existing users to the new, modern Flow Capture interface.

For users migrating from the Classic interface more information can be found in our Guides for Navigating Flow Capture's UI Changes.

This update includes improvements to our Android application to allow them to better handle the deeplinks in Flow Capture emails, letting you jump to the asset in question in the Flow Capture app.

Android - Inbox Only

This parity update allows for users with accounts set to "Inbox Only" to use the Flow Capture Android application.

Bug Fixes

Playlists and Shares - Asset Info

We have identified and resolved an issue which was preventing asset metadata from becoming available if content was being accessed from a Share in cases where a user should have visibility over the metadata.

Assets - Navigation

We have identified and resolved an issue which could cause the panel on the right of the screen to become unresponsive when changing between folders.

Assets - Renaming Assets

We have identified and resolved an issue where users with appropriate permission to upload assets to a location were not presented with the option to rename assets.

Android - Live Streaming

We have identified and resolved an issue which could cause instability when playing Live Stream videos.
