Color Profiles and HDR Live Streaming with Flow Capture Connect

Flow CaptureConnect allows you to define various color options for Live Streaming according to the needs of your Production. These settings should be set to match the output of your editing/grading software as closely as possible for a unified experience across the host and remote machines.

Note that these options are for color balance of the Live Stream and are not intended as a replacement for the grade itself. 

To Locate these settings, choose the dropdown menu within Connect and select Settings

From here we can add a new Color Profile or Edit an existing Color Profile

Color Settings

Primaries: Choose from a drop-down menu of available color primary options. Select the Primary that matches the settings of your Input.

Transfer: Choose from a drop-down menu of available color transfer options. Select the Transfer option that matches the settings of your Input.

Matrix: Choose from a drop-down menu of available color matrix options. Select the Matrix option that matches the settings of your Input

Range: Choose your color range from Limited/Full/Derived to match the settings of your Input.

Chroma (Horizontal): Choose from Collated/Half to match the settings of your Input.

Chroma (Vertical): Choose from Collated/Half to match the settings of your Input.

HDR

Mastering Primary Red: Define the X and Y values that match the settings of your Input.

Mastering Primary Green: Define the X and Y values that match the settings of your Input.

Mastering Primary Blue: Define the X and Y values that match the settings of your Input.

White Point: Define the X and Y values that match the settings of your Input.

Luminance: Define the Min Value and Max Value that matches the settings of your Input.

Light Levels: Define the MaxFALL Value and MaxCLL Value that match the settings of your Input.

Once we have a Color Profile defined we are now able to apply the settings to any of our Live Streams within Flow Capture Connect.
