2025/04 - Late April Release

Feature Updates

Playlists and Shares

This update includes the general release of our new Playlists and Shares experience in Flow Capture.

Playlists and Shares introduce a number of improvements for users who need to

  • Share content from multiple folders.
  • Share content again - but to different people this time.
  • See an admin overview of content shared across the project.

If you're already familiar with how to make Playlinks you'll feel right at home creating a Share from a Playlist!

For more information you can visit our feature landing page Welcome to Playlists on Flow Capture

Asset Status

Productions are now able to define Asset Status tags that can be applied to assets across the Production. These can be as simple as "In Progress" and "Done" or involved in more complex workflows such as "Awaiting Approval"/"Approved".

For more information see Flow Capture Guides - Asset Status

Sign in - Sign in with Autodesk ID

This update introduces the ability to connect/create an Autodesk ID for logging in to Flow Capture.

If you already use other products in the Autodesk suite, you likely already have an Autodesk login - now you can use it to log into Flow Capture!

For more information see Flow Capture Guides - Autodesk ID

Please note: this is for non SSO customers, so you may not be presented with the Autodesk ID option if you currently use SSO for login

Email Summary - Shares

We are introducing a new feature to allow you to collate your Shares notifications into a regularly scheduled digest - especially handy for users who receive a high quantity of notification emails.

Bug Fixes

Admin - Asset Management

We have identified and resolved an issue which could prevent Administrator users from performing certain asset management actions.
